OGRA Road Schools
A new age had dawned and OGRA responded to the challenge with in-service training courses known as Road Schools for its members. The T.J. Mahony Road School, named after an association president and secretary-treasurer, began in 1959 as a basic training program in all aspects of road construction and maintenance. Two years later, the C.S. Anderson Road School, named in honour of another OGRA president, began offering advanced courses in construction, maintenance, and management.
