OGRA members will be interested to see the third presentation of the Transportation Research Board's (TRB) on NCHRP Report 769, A Guide for Public Transportation Pandemic Planning and Responses. Members can benefit from the focus on public transit and principals and applications that can be transferred to other modes of transportation. Also included in this webinar are checklists to help when working on your planning and preparedness before the pandemic occurs.

OGRA Courses Update

OGRA is continuing to monitor COVID-19 in Ontario and Canada, and at this time with the exception of Asset Data Collection & Condition Evaluation we are postponing ALL April courses. In addition, we are postponing and attempting to reschedule Guelph Road School May 4-6th. We realize how important all our courses are and we are working diligently to reschedule most of these courses, including T.J. Mahony and C.S. Anderson courses for later in the year.

All registered students, Course Directors and Instructors will be contacted directly via email.

We are working with the Asset Data Collection & Condition Evaluation facilitators to convert this course to an online format.

OGRA is doing its part to help #flattenthecurve of COVID-19 and we appreciate your support and understanding in this matter.

In an effort to do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep people safe, OGRA has decided to close its office temporarily until May 1st and have staff work from home during normal business hours. OGRA will still be working diligently to serve its members during this period. OGRA will continue to monitor the situation and advice from Ontario and Canadian Health Officials, and we will make any necessary changes as needed.

The following courses have been postponed and will be rescheduled later this year:

  • TM41 Sanitary Sewer Design
  • TM47 Stormwater Management.

OGRA’s Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

When it comes to all things COVID-19, OGRA monitors and relies on the expertise and advice of Ontario’s medical professionals.

Currently, all our courses and events are proceeding as planned. OGRA is dedicated to providing a healthy and safe environment for all of our students and instructors. For those attending our courses, we will provide you with regular updates.

If you are attending a course, OGRA recommends that you follow medical guidelines and tips for staying healthy. This means that if you’re registered for a course and feel unwell, please stay home.
